Treasure Coast Hospice

The Andrew Schmeer Foundation is collecting items for the children who are in  the care of the Treasure Coast Hospice Little Treasures Pediatric Care Program. We are asking for donations of new toys, games, stuffed animals and blankets to distribute to the children. We would also like to collect gift cards for the parents and small gifts for the siblings.  The children's ages range from birth to 21. If you cannot get any of these items, we will be happy to take a monetary donation to spend on the families in need. These items can be dropped off at "Lightin' It Up for Andrew 2018" on October 13th or call me to set up a time to meet. These children are all going through so much and we need to do as much for them as we can.

Children facing a serious illness have unique needs. Treasure Health Pediatric Care focuses on the unique needs of children, teens and their families through its specialized program, Little Treasures. The goal of this program is to improve the quality of life for children and teens with serious illness by supporting the entire family with palliative and hospice care.  Surrounding families with individualized care and support, the Little Treasures Care Team addresses medical, psychosocial and spiritual concerns by providing intensive pain and symptom management along with counseling, guidance and education.

Andrew shared a passion for working with children and loved to give back to his community. Please show love to Andrew and these special children by donating what you can to The Treasure Coast Hospice Little Treasures Pediatric Care Program so that these children can  focus on being kids while getting the services that Hospice so lovingly provides them.
