About Andrew
The Andrew Schmeer Foundation honors the memory of Andrew Schmeer who was tragically killed on September 8, 2014 in a car accident. Andrew graduated from Lincoln Park Academy High School in May 2006 with his International Baccalaureate Diploma. Throughout his years, Andrew played competitive soccer for the Port St. Lucie Hurricanes, Jensen Beach Tigers, Treasure Coast United and the Sebastian State Cup Soccer Leagues. Andrew played Varsity Soccer for six years for the Lincoln Park Academy Greyhounds and was captain of the team for three years. Andrew was a member of the National Honor Society, the Beta Club and a seven year member of the Lincoln Park Academy Concert Band. His kind spirit and eagerness to help others was evident in his outgoing personality. Andrew's zest of life, genuine dedication to his friends and family makes all who know him love him. Andrew went on to further his education at the University of Florida, where he earned his degree at the Warrington College of Business Administration. Andrew was an active participant with several elementary schools, soccer clubs, local animal shelters, Relay for Life, and United Way activities. it was Andrew's dream on his bucket list to start a successful charity.  In honor of his wishes, we created the Andrew Schmeer Foundation to show tribute to him and carry on his legacy.
